Special Prayer Request For TWC Members

8

Many of you know and see Bobby and Kristen Gilles in and around TWC and are probably familiar with what’s been going on with them lately. Those of you who aren’t I’d like to request your prayers.

This weekend, expecting to give birth to their son Parker, they were devastated with his unexpected death.

From Bobby:

“As many of you know, our Parker David died at birth. We are so grateful for the outpouring of prayers & support from you. And although this is unbelievable pain, we trust God’s goodness. Kristen said ‘He went straight into the joy of The Lord.'”

From Kristen:

“Parker was doing amazingly well thru entire labor including final pushing phase this afternoon but then his little heart just stopped and they did an emergency c-section at 5:30. He wasn’t able to be revived. as hard as this is, we Know that God has not failed in anyway and has beautifully displayed the wonders of his saving love through this pregnancy, labor, delivery and taking our son to be carried in the tangible arms of His savior, Jesus. This was our greatest prayer that he would know The Lord from the very day of His birth. And God has answered ;) thank you for mourning and rejoicing with us…we might be out of touch for a few days but know that we are overwhelmed with your loving support and prayers. We have some beautiful pics we’ll share soon. Parker David Gilles, born into the arms of Jesus, 10-21-12, weighing 8 lbs, 8.4 oz and 23 inches long. A most beautiful baby boy…who gets to sing new songs of praise forever for and with His almighty savior and faithful loving father. We will cry many years for this precious child, and we will continue to bless The Lord at all times.”

Memorial service for our infant son Parker David is Thursday, 5pm. Visitation 2-4pm same day – both at Sojourn New Albany, 2023 Ekin Ave, 47150. We’d be honored to see you if you can make it. Regardless, we love you and thank all of you for your support.

Please lift them up in prayer today and tomorrow during this hard time of mourning and loss.

Fellow TWC member, Shannon Lewis, just released a new single that Bobby co-wrote on. For the month of October all proceeds from the sale of “Your Will” through iTunes will go directly to the Gilles to assist with medical bills or anything else.

From Shannon:

The first few days of a song’s release is when the most significant sales take place, and it means that they’ll get the money right before Christmas (according to iTunes timeline) & that just feels RIGHT.

If you like, you can also donate directly instead of (or on top of) downloading the song (send me an email at saintlewis@bellsouth.net for more info), or you could also purchase Bobby & Kristen’s own recordings if you don’t already own them – all are excellent options.

Please help us make this have the greatest impact possible – spread the word. I hope you will partner with us in blessing our friends, co-writers, & brothers & sisters in Christ.
