  • looking to split 1 image/video over 8 screeens

What would you guys recommend for splitting 1 image of video over multiple screens? What do you use as a affordable splitter?

What is the connection at the source? What are the displays you want to split it to?

The source would possibly be a regular computer I'm thinking with propresenter. We want them to go to 9 LED tvs.

Making sure we're on the same page. Do you want ONE image shown 8 times on matching screens or do you want 1 image to be presented in whole by 8 screens?

If it is the same image just repeated you can get powered video splitters/distribution amps. Monoprice has solid and affordable gear like this: http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_i...seq=1&format=2

If you want to spread an image across multiple screens then that is a bit bigger task. I've done this two ways. One way is with a Matrox Triple-Head... but that only gets you 3 screens (http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/gxm/). The other way I've done this is with an LED wall that we wired as one screen and then did not mount the panels together. IF LED panels are in your budget, possibilities are huge there. You can move these and place these wherever you want as long as you've got the cable & rigging.
