  • Referral Contest - How To Advertise and Refer to TheWorshipCommunity.Com

    Hey Everyone:

We've recently celebrated our 100th+ member to "TheWorshipCommunity.Com"! We are officially 'open'!

One of the visions I've shared with "TheWorshipCommunity" is that the membership base would be filled with thousands of worshipers and ministry leaders from every walk of life - multiple denominations, states, countries, styles ... small churches, mega churches, denominational churches, non-denominational churches, traditional churches, post-modern/gen-x churches, etc.

In the VERY NEAR FUTURE, we're going to do something really fun ... a "referral contest" .. I'm still trying to find the logistics of it, but think we'll offer some great prizes and incentives to those who refer the most "active" members to "The Worship Community".

So, how do you advertise? First, you'd need to get your "referral link", which is found on our FAQ section. You have to be logged in to see your link.

Your referral link should be displayed here:
    http://www.theworshipcommunity.com/f...errals_explain

    So, here are some ideas:

    #1: email (do NOT spam!)
Send email to those in your network - friends, family, co-ministry leaders, other churches that you network with.

    #2: blog
Do you have a blog, or know someone who blogs? If so, ask them to consider doing an "entry" about "TheWorshipCommunity".

#3: Social Sites (ie. myspace, shoutlife, facebook, etc)
Post messages, bulletins, etc., on the social networking sites. Again, please don't spam .. be sensitive to other people. We don't want to get a "bad reputation"!

To help, below are a few images that can help you. Just right-click and "Save Image", or copy the URL and feel free to use OUR bandwidth!

    Plain Logo:

I hope this helps, and look forward to seeing you get engaged with this. And stay tuned - our "referral contest" will be announced VERY SOON!

    For the Kingdom,

Hey --- sure thing! In the example below you'll only need to replace the "referralid=1" with YOUR number (twc_admin is 1 because I was the first user to signup!) .. you can get your referralID in the FAQ area at the bottom of the page, under "Referrals".

      Code:
      <h2>Join TheWorshipCommunity.Com and Discuss Everything Worship!</h2>
      <a href="http://www.theworshipcommunity.com/forums/index.php?referrerid=1"><img src="http://www.theworshipcommunity.com/images/twc_logo_gfx.gif"></a></br>
      <a href="http://www.theworshipcommunity.com/forums/index.php?referrerid=1">www.theworshipcommunity.com</a>
You should be able to copy/paste everything in between the [code] tags (excluding the code tags) and make it work - just remember, in every instance where you see "referralid=1" ... change that number "1" to match YOUR ID#. Again, if you go down to the bottom of any page on TWC and click "FAQ", you can find the info about Referrals and get your link with your ID #.

Quickie fix - the code above was WRONG - it should say "referrerid" .. not "referralid" ... if you grabbed that code, go back and fix.

Also, notice that "referrerid" happens in TWO instances - be sure and change in BOTH places.

        Sorry for the mixup!
