Dear Worshipers and TWC Faithful,
It’s with great excitement that I share with you that effective immediately, TheWorshipCommunity.Com has been acquired by a new entity.
When I founded TheWorshipCommunity.Com I wanted to establish a home for worship leaders, church techs, and ministry leaders to be resourced and encouraged. TheWorshipCommunity.Com has served that purpose for thousands of worship leaders across the globe.
Over the past couple of years I found myself unable to devote myself to the attention the community needed. In addition, Russ Hutto (TWC’s Editor) felt that his season of leading the content management was coming to a close at the end of 2015. Russ shares, “I’m very thankful for the opportunity to have worked with Fred and TWC as editor and content curator for the past several years. I am a better worship leader because of the connections I’ve been able to make within the community. I’m very excited to see where TWC will go from here”.
TheWorshipCommunity.Com is in an amazing position to continue to build and reach an even larger audience. For that reason, we are so thrilled to announce that long time friends (personally, professionally, and in ministry) Shannon and Cyle Lewis will be leading TheWorshipCommunity.Com moving forward. I could not be happier to see this amazing couple named as the new faces and leaders of this beloved community.

Cyle Lewis, Shannon’s wife, writes “I’ve been involved in worship music all my life. My dad was a worship leader, I’m married to a worship leader, I’ve spent years as part of the worship band/team where we’ve served – including with Fred. Most importantly, worship music is integral to my personal and spiritual life in every way. It is a privilege to become part of leading The Worship Community.”
Both Russ and I plan to continue contributing and networking with TWC Members. We have a passion and heart for this community that we’ve led over the past many years. It’s with great expectation that I look forward to seeing TheWorshipCommunity.Com in a new era with even greater impact for God’s Kingdom.
