Welcome to the 82nd consecutive week of “Sunday Setlists”. The purpose of “Sunday Setlists” is to share a recap of your worship services. What songs did you use, what arrangements? What worked really well and what didn’t work as well as you’d like? What issues did you have preparing? What is the sermon series? How about creative elements used in the service? You don’t have to be the pastor or worship leader to participate. We would really love to get reviews from the perspective of those in our congregations each week.

...but man, 2nd service was pretty close. God blew my mind, especially following some of the difficulties we encountered first service.
Just posted our setlist for today:
"You Are Holy (Prince of Peace)"
"Glory to God Forever" (Steve Fee and Vicky Beeching)
"Glorious" (Paul Baloche)
"Everyday" (Joel Houston)
Before the service began today things were a little wild....Our worship leader (me) slipped on the ice fell with my guitar flying out of my hand..our bass drum pedal broke during the preservice rehearsal, we were missing a monitor and we had no words on the screen for the first song (which we sang again) and God blessed the service in an huge way...pretty amazing and yes both me and my guitar (a taylor btw) are alright...Here is our songlist

The Way (Paul Baloche)
The Solid Rock (Passion version)

It wasn't a bad service, but I definitely didn't like how Today is the Day and Salt and Light went together. It was a strange service, anyway...
We are getting ready to start our Lent series next week and have been following the lectionary with blah-ish services. It's a battle...
Next week, things should perk up.
Most of the musicians were not available and the youth were at winter camp, so we were missing quite a few people on the team. So, it was an acoustic Sunday with guitar and violin and 3 singers. It actually was nice to change things up a bit.
