Weather was an issue once again this weekend, and we can’t wait for winter to be over! (Don’t forget to change your clocks – spring forward – this Sunday at 2 a.m.) Saturday night was the calm before the storm, unless you are talking about the people who were emptying the grocery store shelves of toilet paper, milk and bread. We had the privilege of playing with an incredible guitarist who hadn’t played in a church in over 20 years. He’s got chops similar to Satriani, Vai, Gilbert, and maybe most like Guthrie Govan. We hope to see him back in church soon! On Sunday morning, all the people stayed home because of the weather – that is – except for the band, the preacher, our tech folks, some spouses, and one very hard couple who would normally prefer to go to church on their Harleys. Sunday night was canceled, even though the “giant storm” turned out to be pretty much a dud, with less than 3 inches of snow.
