Sunday Setlists # 166

Share your worship confessionals, recaps, and setlists for the week of: Sunday, September 25, 2011

Welcome to the 166th consecutive week of “Sunday Setlists”. The purpose of “Sunday Setlists” is to share a recap of your worship services. What songs did you use, what arrangements? What worked really well and what didn’t work as well as you’d like? What issues did you have preparing? What is the sermon series? How about creative elements used in the service? You don’t have to be the pastor or worship leader to participate. We would really love to get reviews from the perspective of those in our congregations each week.

Click here to receive an email reminder each week to participate.

It’s not our tradition but today we added the elements of: a creed, prayer of confession and assurance of pardon to our service. It might not have been in the traditional way but it had a great impact.

Sing to the King, Better Is One Day, Waiting Here For You, Made Me Glad, O The Blood of Jesus, Who Can Satisfy was our setlist today. Went well with a good flow, transitions, and very little dead time.

We finished a two-week family topic, so had fun with some oldies complete with motions. Our worship team for the morning included kids, teens, and adults. Everyone seemed to enjoy and they’ll always participate when the kids are involved. :)
