Sunday Setlists #144 – April 24, 2011

Share your worship confessionals, recaps, and setlists for the week of: Sunday, April 24, 2011

Happy Easter from the Worship Community! We join a myriad of brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ this weekend in celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Welcome to the 144th consecutive week of “Sunday Setlists”. The purpose of “Sunday Setlists” is to share a recap of your worship services. What songs did you use, what arrangements? What worked really well and what didn’t work as well as you’d like? What issues did you have preparing? What is the sermon series? How about creative elements used in the service? You don’t have to be the pastor or worship leader to participate. We would really love to get reviews from the perspective of those in our congregations each week.

Click here to receive an email reminder each week to participate.

Yesterday was a great day for our church. Most people thus far in our church plant. People were singing out. Salvations. Rededications. Yesterday was an example of why we do what we do.

we had a day of “new and old” here at first Presbyterian in Tonawanda, NY. We have had 3 octaves of handbells and 3 handbell choirs, but we used our adult bells to process into the church while playing during “Jesus christ is Risen today”. what a great addition! We used the arrangement that Hall Hopson wrote. We also had our adult choir sing an old favorite, “Easter Song” that incorporates 12 bells. Our children’s choir sang, too. A very festive service!
