Sunday Setlists #140 – March 27, 2011

Share your worship confessionals, recaps, and setlists for the week of:

Sunday, March 27, 2011

Welcome to the 140th consecutive week of “Sunday Setlists”. The purpose of “Sunday Setlists” is to share a recap of your worship services. What songs did you use, what arrangements? What worked really well and what didn’t work as well as you’d like? What issues did you have preparing? What is the sermon series? How about creative elements used in the service? You don’t have to be the pastor or worship leader to participate. We would really love to get reviews from the perspective of those in our congregations each week.

Click here to receive an email reminder each week to participate.

It’s been a while since we sang Mighty To Save and it was refreshing today. “Take me as you find me, all my fears and failures” – love that lyric! God bless you guys.

We sang Mighty To Save at our place yesterday as well! It was actually the first time I’ve ever led it!

Full day at Union Center! One of the highlights was a responsive prayer that a poet in our community wrote for our congregation.

We had a great time of worship yesterday but our mixing board blew on the mains during a climatic part of the sermon.

This weekend was rough for us. It was a challenge and has really made me start to examine and think. Having two services of different styles (one being a style that I don’t resonate with) is a huge challenge and I feel as though this service suffers a lot because of it. Check out my blog to see more.

    • http://www.russhutto.com Russ Hutto

I think that would be tough, Josh. I guess ultimately the challenge isn’t necessarily in pulling off the style that doesn’t resonate with us, but more so in keeping the desire to serve the congregation (with that style) at the forefront. Blessings!

Set from Sunday. Maybe 1 too many fast songs. Also, some video. http://wp.me/p152RT-w2

Such a rich time of blending old and new songs to take folks on a journey of the heart. Love leading worship! More than that, love the opportunity to serve Christ and bring Him honor because He has restored my honor through His suffering, death, resurrection. http://wp.me/pUejb-eW

    Appreciate all of you!
