Refuge 2013: Registration Now Open

We are so thrilled to share with you that we’re bringing Refuge back in 2013. Our first Refuge, back in October 2011 was an incredible time of refreshment and encouragement. Our fall dates for Refuge 2012 just weren’t working out so after much prayer we decided to plan ahead and move Refuge to early Spring.

Refuge 2013 will be Sunday – Wednesday, March 3-6 here on beautiful St. Simons Island once again.

Refuge is a 3-day sabbatical retreat from the fast-paced, stress-filled life. It’s a time to be refreshed, renewed, and restored. Our culture has created a lifestyle that allows no margin to unwind, to exhale, or to listen. From full-time worship leaders and pastors, team members, volunteers, or creative influences – we cannot lead and influence others successfully without taking time to stop, listen, and focus.

Refuge promises to present a schedule unlike most conferences or retreats. Our vision is to provide structured sessions for worship, encouragement, fellowship, and ministry while giving plenty of time for rest, relaxation, recreation, and solitude. Our schedule is flexible and is not only subject to change, but “likely to change”. So take a deep breath, feel the ocean breeze in your hair, and smell the salt in the air. It’s time for refreshing.

Hosted by Fred McKinnon (founder of TWC) and several members of TWC such as Russ Hutto (editor of TWC) on St. Simons Island, GA, one of the most beautiful resort islands in the world; you are invited to come to our Refuge where we will experience the joys of worship, solitude, encouragement, recreation, dining, and renewal for the soul, mind, and body. The event will provide both structured times of spiritual worship, prayer, ministry, and fellowship to unstructured times for personal rest, recreation, and solitude.
