Summary: The Daily Christology apps are a simple resource designed to help Believers learn and to be reminded of Biblical concepts that will strengthen our faith and deepen our knowledge of WHO the Bible says Christ really is.
Who Will Benefit: Worshipers, Worship Leaders & Worship Writers will especially benefit as these apps can be one tool to help strengthen faith and provide insight into the deeper “nature” of Christ that can be missed in casual, Western Christianity.
One thing I know that worshipers and worship leaders of every flavor, style, denomination, and background need to be pursuing is depth in their relationship with Jesus. One thing I routinely pray in my own life is that…
…the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. Ephesians 1:17
Knowing Jesus. Knowing Him more. Knowing His ways more. Knowing His words more. Knowing. More.
The cool thing about “knowing Jesus more” is that it isn’t all about an intellectual knowledge. We know that it is the SPIRIT of God that reveals aspects of His nature and character to us. But one thing I’m continually learning is that God blesses a disciplined heart, a committed desire to get to know Him.
This resource is practical. It is something to spur your heart and mind towards Christ. Towards knowing Him more.
Christology is the study of who Jesus, the Christ, is. It is the study of Christ; who He was, is, and will be. Many people claim Christianity but know little of Christ. The Daily Christology Series seeks to increase the knowledge of Christ through daily messages that are Christ centered. In the words of Misty Edwards:
He’s not a baby in a manger anymore
He’s not a broken man on a cross
He didn’t stay in the grave
And He’s not staying in heaven forever
In our Western Churchianity, we tend to sterilize Jesus. We tend to water Him down. To westernize and culture-ize Him. Jesus is so much more than just Sweet Baby Jesus, or a weeping statue…
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Colossians 1:15-17
The first app in this series (with several more to be released this year) is REASONS FOR FAITH.
Reasons for Faith in Jesus: is made by Christians for Christians.
This app is for:
- New Christians
- Mature Christians
- Christians struggling in their faith
- and anyone on the fence of decision.
This app is meant to strengthen faith, the belief in the unseen. In a world where Christianity and the deity of Christ are frequently attacked and undermined daily encouragement is needed.
Each day a new Reason For Faith will be presented.
The scriptures, sayings, facts, and quotes are meant to be used for meditation and pondering in the midst of a busy schedule.
Worship Leaders: this is a wonderful resource (especially the next app in the series to be released later in March) because there’s nothing more dangerous to the Body than a worship leader (or any leader for that matter) that doesn’t KNOW Jesus. If we’re all honest, there are probably many deep and profound aspects of the nature of Christ that we haven’t discovered yet, and that’s ok, unless we decide to just stagnate in our relationship with Him.
This app is just a simple and easily accessible way to be reminded of (and to learn) more about the Son, Jesus Christ. We highly recommend it at TWC and hope you will support our desire to provide a simple, yet beneficial resource to Believers who truly want to deepen their “intellectual” understanding of Christ, while inviting His Spirit to make the “ology” come alive and real within the core of who they are as well.
Cost: 99 cents.

Jonathan Hutto & Russ Hutto (Editor of TWC) are the developers of The Daily Christology series of apps and would love to see Believers strengthened in their relationships with Jesus and in their “knowing” Jesus more.
