NEW SONG: Joy in the Morning
So, I realize this one is a big 'rangey' for most guys - I was listening to Phil Wickham a bit the week I wrote it, which may explain the high stuff, but it wouldn't be too hard for a lady to lead. Anyway... I just blogged a bit about one of our newer songs, and it's got audio of it being performed at our church. Swing by, and give some feedback. Thanks!

I had the privilege of being on the team when we did this live. That's me in the background vocals singing the low male part. I agree this one might be tough for most male leaders to pull off. I are one! There's no way I could do this one justice...
That being said, it is SO SO catchy and I found myself singing and humming it for days. It is a beautifully written song, Shannon! I wonder if we could twist your arm to join us monthly for our songwriting assignments! We could use your insight and your voice in our group!

Actually, I've always wanted to participate, but I seem to always have other themes or Scriptures on my heart when one gets suggested, so I always pass. Eventually it'll happen.
