There's been an uptick in chatter on this subject at my church. I'm curious to see who is doing it, what they're using, store-bought, original script with mainstream music, original script andoriginal music....

If store bought, where do you get yours, what presentations have you used/are you using this year?

if you're writing your own:

?? about theatrical scriptwriting - how many pages per minute of stage time? In tv and movie its typically 1 page of script/min of screen time.

I think I'd love to write something. I've thought about it on and off for years. However, we've never done anything "different" at Christmas. We always believed that if people come out for Christmas (and no other time of year) we want to present "normal" as opposed to different. I'm sure there are pros and cons to that approach.

One of the cons being that I don't get to go crazy trying to figure out what to do for Christmas...oh wait...or is that a pro?

Would love to see what other people are doing as well.

Golden questions!!! PLEASE if anyone has excellent drama scripts I'm very interested. Quite frankly, I find very, very few excellent scripts! I have a fabulous drama team...nothing to use! Don't have time to write right now.

Right now I would love to find a great one on Volunteering - Granger did a magnificent one, but it was done like a musical and I don't have time for that!

Yeah, we don't do anything special for Christmas. Jesus should be celebrated everyday. At our church you will get a "Merry Christmas and thanks for coming this morning!" and that’s about as special as we go. Worship is unchanged and we continue on with whatever sermon series we are on.
