Default Join us for "Night of Worship" Online this Sunday, Jan 31 at 6:00 PM EST

Hey Everybody,

This Sunday night, January 31st at 6:00 PM EST, I will be leading a "Night of Worship" at our church, St. Simons Community Church ... and YOU ARE INVITED.

If you are in the Southeast GA or Northeast FL area, come on up. But we will also be broadcasting the Night of Worship LIVE online via LiveStream.Com. (assuming LiveStream cooperates!)

There will be some of the TWC faithfuls in the band, including myself, Russ Hutto, and Shannon Lewis (SaintLewis). Look forward to your joining us.

Wanna join us live? Go to:
LIVE | St Simons Community Church

Be sure and join the live chat, and spread the word via Facebook and Twitter.

For the Kingdom,
Fred

Thank you! Just what I needed, as I try to get back to a more 'normal' schedule - I heard at least one song I was not familiar with that really hit me - and, what key did you start Christ Is Risen in and did you go up just a step? thanks - Maggie

Default Tech Details of Night of Worship?

Hi there,

Great job last night with the live web cast.

I asked on the chat last night what was the back end of the live web stream. Whoever was moderating said Travis would let us know. Do you have a run down of the equipment you were using to make streaming it via Livestream possible? Also, do you use the Free version of Livestream? Is there a special copyright license you'd need if you were going to stream services live (music and sermons) on a normal basis?

Thanks,
Brian

I'll let Travis answer your questions about the back end stuff, Brian.

Maggie, We started Christ is Risen in Gb (E capo 2 for Guitars) and YES we did modulate up to Ab at the end!

It was a blast!

Was it the last chorus you modulated up? Do you write that out for you band?

Thanks Brian!

Maggie: It was the last 2 choruses that we took up (right after the O Death, O Hell, O Church bridge).

And Fred had the charts (words and chords) but we just penciled in the chords for the last 2 choruses in Ab. (it's only 4 chords I think: Ab Ab/C Db Fm Eb or something like that)

Aww, Gb is really not too tough. It's waaaay easier than F# (snicker!) Push yourself a little!! You can do it!

I'm a woodwind player by training- F# makes more sense to me - but, as my drummer says - he can play in any key, so I should be able to, as well - HA
maybe, as I am home tomorrow (stupid cold has my asthma ALL cranked up) I will just practice it in Gb, as Ab is a piece of cake - I will let you know
