    Default In-Ear Headphones

Hi all! This is a sad day... I lost my shure se 425's which when I bought were priced at $400 and now sell for $300. And my cheap skull candy headphones broke... erg. Haha, so here is my question... any recommendations for in-ear monitors? Some Worship Leaders I have worked with use custom Westones but I've also heard about other companies like Christian made 1964 Ears. I'd prefer cheap(under 550 preferably but can go higher if I HAVE to) custom molds... or to stick with non-customs as long as they sound good like the se 425's I had which lacked alot of sound sadly.

    I'm looking at these... http://www.1964ears.com/products_quads.html

If you've got $550 to spend, there's no reason not to go custom. I'm a Westone user, myself - I have the AC2, which runs $400 + impressions and I'm a big fan. I had some cheaper Alien Ears monitors before which I had to send in several times for repairs - the Westones are rock solid and the sound quality blows the AEs out of the water.

I've heard really good things about 1964, as well - know a lot of folks on another forum that use them & the price is certainly right. Just haven't used them myself.
