Greetings from Canada.

I have been a worship leader for 15 years at a few different churches in Ottawa. Starting to look to do this on a full time basis as my wife and I feel God is calling us to change our lifestyle and go into ministry.

Now the job hunt begins. Are there any Canadians out there that have had experience with applying for and getting positions in the US? We have felt for the past year that God was leading us to the States, but the idea of getting a visa seems very intimidating.

Shalom, brother Dave! I have a Canadian friend who worked here in the States for a few years recently. He did find the visa process a bit cumbersome but all things worked out for him in the end. He's back working in Canada again! We miss him, but he's much happier back up north, so we're glad for him. God will bring you to the place he wants you as you continue to seek Him...believe that. I can see His leading throughout my life regardless of my wayward heart and mind at times.
