My name is Andy Baker. I’m from London, England, and I live with my wife Dana who is a vocalist and missionary originally from Missouri. We have a beautiful 16 month old daughter called Amalee Hope. I have been a Christian for over thirty years, and I play guitar. We have been involved with Holy Trinity Brompton Church in London for a number of years. I have played guitar with many worship leaders including Matt Redman, Tim Hughes, and Ben Cantelon.
As well as living in London both Dana and I are involved with a band from Nashville, Tennessee called Paradigm Worship. This summer the band had the amazing privilege of leading worship at a pre-Olympic event in London where we were blessed to meet and work with missionaries and worshippers from around the world. After this event, we went back to the United States with the band where we led worship at youth events and churches in Tennessee, Missouri, and Kentucky as well as performed on TCT television which is due to be aired sometime in October 2012.
Paradigm Worship’s music is geared to call a generation to worship and prayer. Our vision is to use our gifts to influence young people to become a generation that seeks God’s face (Psalm 24:6). Our hope is this: that new Christians will be drawn to seek His face and enter into a new dimension of worship. Welcome to TWC, Andy! Looks like you got a ton of experience that many WISH we had. :-) Feel free to contribute to the forums. There are many of us who are in the worship trenches, and could use some encouragement, insight, and good old fashioned community. Glad you're here. Blessings!

Thanks for the welcome, Melanie. Good to be here! I do have a ton of experience not only playing guitar in church and touring with worship leaders, but I also have loads of experience in the secular world as a session musician. I'm only too happy to share and pass on any tips about playing or offer encouragement to anyone who needs it. Plus, I'm still learning myself and would love to connect with other guitarists and musicians about playing, songwriting, recording, worship and ministry :-)
