Gentlemen, I enjoyed reading this thread and was wondering if you would use your theological eyes to examine a song I wrote?

It does have one "Holy" and based on your discussion, I think I'm in the clear. It's always good to give God the benefit of the doubt though and I welcome accountability. = ) Many thanks!
No worries either way though

Just read the lyrics. Nice job.
One thing I would recommend... and this is me talking: I see that there are two types of worship songs, those which praise God for Who He is--irregardless had He ever died for us, and praising God because He died for us.
There's no hard and fast rule, but I always gravitate between one or the other. If both are in a song, then I would make sure that praising God for Who He Is is the main thrust of an entire verse or chorus, while to praise Him for What He did is a chorus or bridge. The effect being, GOD is GREAT, even before TIME began... and Yet He STILL DIED for us.
Does this help?
