Default Prayer Request - Just became a Worship Leader in my Youth Group

A few things to know about me: I'm a 1.5 generation Korean-Canadian. I came to Canada when I was 2 years old, so I forgot most of my Korean and I am most comfortable with English. I'm fairly comfortable with saying simple sentences in Korean, but more complicated than that and often I can't express what I want to say (If completely fluent is 100%, I'm about 45-60%).

This makes it rather hard to be the worship leader in a Korean-speaking church.

There are other 1.5 or 2nd gen kids in my youth group (thankfully!), but the majority of the teens are Korean-speaking. Some can hardly speak English, and so everything I say during worship has to be in Korean. Even when I want to say something as simple as "Let's all stand up and praise God together", I get really nervous. I can't improvise things like I want to, or say all the things to the team/congregation that I want. It's really frustrating, and to be honest I'm getting a lot of stress from this whole "worship leader" thing.

Even so, I'm grateful that God has chosen me to lead every one else into worship, even when we speak different languages. I believe that God will help me with this obstacle, but I would really appreciate it if you guys would pray for me as well. Thanks so much!

Sounds like an awesome opportunity to be used by God!
