I like new arrangements of old hymns and I like electronic music. I gave your track a listen and thought it was pretty good. However, I don't particularly like listening to autotuned vocals throughout an entire song; do you plan on using this effect for the rest of your songs? And like others have said, the song also needs some progression and buildup. But so far it sounds great!

I'm also really looking forward to your Dubstep/Brostep song Would be a really disruptive message to folks who think worship is limited to a certain genre.

Yeah I do plan on using the auto tune, although it technically isn't auto tune. I use melodyne and drag the pitches around and flatten out the modulation which gives the processed synthetic sound. I want the vocals to have that because it fits with the theme of the album.

Also let it be known, I'm not using "Auto Tune" because I can't sing, while my voice is my weakest aspect I use Melodyne as an effect, much like a distortion pedal for guitars.

And yeah, I think that any style of music can be worship, and I love doing things that are out of box.

I would listen to most of it. I too have been experiementing with Electronica-dance. I rewrote one of my songs and remixed it with trance-style beats. Just to break things up, I am bored out of my mind with the usual style of CCM somgs in the church today: the usual guitar/keys/bass/drum sounds. Ive been looking for something "different" for about 18 months. I even started using drum loops from my laptop a few months before I resigned from music minister at the church I used to serve at.

Hey, great idea for sure - not sure if you could do a full album with fully autotuned vocals like that the whole way through the album. Also needs more progress music wise - but your def making a great start.

I don't think I'd listen to a whole album, as its pretty bland.. And this is my fav hymn.. I love techno.. Was a rave dj for a number of years..

It's just pretty bland.. Lacking that techno feel.. Techno is all about double time good beat.. This has more of a trance feel but still needs more.. I'd add more effects to the vocals as they are pretty empty.. Need some more body..

I'd recommend listening to lots of techno music and hearing the elements that you are missing.. Right now it basically just sounds like a keyboard talk box and a beat.. And I'm guessing that's all it is.. But it could sound like more..

Please understand, I'm not trying to be a jerk..! This is a music genre I'm very passionate about and you asked our opinion.. I'm trying to give an honest constructive opinion, but also how to make it better.. I think you've got a good starting point

I'm listening now, does anyone listen to full albums anymore today? http://edfuchsmusic.bandcamp.com/alb...ternitys-shore

I like the techno feel and the look, after a little while it seems to get a little stale. There is so much more you can do, but it's good for a first song...

With that said I really don't like AUTOTUNE. Sometimes it's a nice effect to break the chorus from the verse but after a while the whole thing just get's lame. Try and get a keyboard out and sing the song, then reference the melody to the keyboard if you are a little flat or sharp. Try and really nail it and let the human heart shine rather then the polished fake computer sound.
