New worship leader

Are there any other worship leaders out there that has never done it before but God uses you in that position,even if you are not an advanced keyboard player and you have never sang before.Now you do it and it is actually so enjoyable but you wonder "Am I doing ok?"

Hey Croulez,

I'm not a first-timer but I know what it's like to question yourself, even with something you enjoy so thoroughly. I found 2 things to be helpful:
- firstly, get feedback from others who love you and can be honest about your musicality and leadership. Ask people who are consistent in their own lives so you know you can trust them.
- secondly, get someone to record you either on audio or video (or both if you're enthusiastic) and critique yourself. It's one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but boy did I learn a lot. There are things I tried out on stage that, once I watched myself, I decided never to do again. By figuring that out myself, I saved someone the trouble of having to give me that difficult feedback themselves.

Also, you could ask God :-)
