Intro - Matt Brady from Thomasville, NC

Greetings all! I'd just like to start by saying how thankful I am to have found The Worship Community, as it seems there really is no place quite like here elsewhere on the interwebs. I found my way here through a few Google searches, and now I may not leave.

I live in Thomasville, NC, where I am a musician (guitar & bass) for one of the services our church has. I have had the opportunity to lead worship at my church, and that is truly where my heart is and I hope to be able to serve in that capacity more in the future, but not my timing, His timing. Right now I am just trying to be faithful and serve where He has me.

I've played guitar and sang since about 1999, writing some original songs, singing lots of worship songs, and leading worship in a few different churches. Right now I am working on my Master of Arts in Religion : Worship Studies from Liberty University online. Keeping up with a full course load, working full time (I work in insurance as the day job), and trying to do worship music stuff in between keeps the plate rather full, but if trying to achieve goals was an easy task, everyone would do it!

I look forward to getting to interact with you all on these forums, and hopefully meet some of you more local folks as well. God bless!
