Hey guys, first time poster here so bear with me.
I spent forever looking for patch settings for the organ used on United's Came to my Rescue (United We Stand version) and couldn't find anything so I just decided to share the presets for what I made. regardless of how you feel about it in relation to other B3 emulators, Logic's EVB3 sounds fantastic if you tweak it properly.
keep in mind the tweaks I did are my own interpretations of the sound coming through my speakers and headphones. you may need to adjust accordingly for your own acoustics.
open the EVB3, go to settings and choose Distorted Organ -- Reverb -> Rock Church Organ. from there, you don't need to do much. bring "Click On" down to around 1.5; "Click Off' down to about 0; bring the volume down a little; turn "EQ Mid" and "EQ High" up to 1 or 2 dB; bring Reverb down below 50%; turn up the Tone & Drive up a little; and that should do it.
EQ the EVB3; bring down the mid's a bit, bring up the high's a bit. the goal is to cut through the rest of the band; EQ'ing the B3 before it goes through OD and other effects stops it from getting all mushy down low and screechy up high.
Then just add some Overdrive and Reverb, maybe a TINY bit of delay, and you should be good. This is just a basic set up; add effects as you see fit, but don't add too much OD to the B3 or you'll ruin it's tone. It sounds like United's B3 on that song is overdriven but not nearly as much as it is on other songs. It's really a beautiful tone.
I attached a screenshot of the EVB3 settings. Hope this helps!
