    Hey Gang,

I think (hope) it will be an improvement, if for no other reason, that doggone Facebook error won't keep coming up.

At the bottom of the thread there are some great "share" options ... for example, you can post a thread on your Facebook wall, or even on a Friend's wall. The new FaceBook integration is sweeeet.

As far as navigation ... yeah, it's crazy right now because in the process of upgrading, we lost our theme and templates .. hopefully, our wise code monkey (and editor) can figure out the way to re-skin it ... if not, we'll have to hire someone else .. .but I have HOPE!

I saw your post, Fred, and tried sharing a thread on my Facebook page. It worked! I used to have to cut and paste the address in order to share forum topics with others so this will make it a lot easier!

The thing that bothers me, and this may be what Fred was talking about, is the old page was the middle half of my screen; very easy to read. Now it is the full width of my 22" screen, and I get a neck ache going from side to side. (and where are the smiley faces?)

One change I like is the "quick reply." When I click on it, I can still see the entire conversation so I can refer back to what somebody said instead of having to copy their statement. Still navigating.

Wow, I know this is way after you wrote this, but I just found your site yesterday.
OK, I have had a little problem with logging in after making my ID. I simply couldn't log in yesterday, even though I'd gotten confirmation emails of my new admittance yesterday.
Then, I tried to recover my password, but the system kept telling me that my ID didn't exist. I also tried to do the same by entering my email address. No luck there either.
For some reason however I was able to log in today. (Huh?)

OK, now here's what I am trying to do. I'm trying to DELETE a post I made on this site!!! I should be able to do that once I log in, right? Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out how to do so. Any help would be appreciated.
    Kind Regards,
    David

David, if you want to delete a post, click on "Edit Post." Once you do that, you can delete or change content, and there is a "Delete" button at the bottom if you want to delete the whole post.

Tom - did you just get my last post? I wrote out a long reply to you and posted it but it seemed to go away?

Tom: this is now my 2nd copy of this post. (Fortunately I saved it on my computer before I posted it. I am writing this AFTER having written my question to you as to whether you received the post I made. OK here's a copy of the post; this is re-posting.):
    ==========================================
Tom, it's not happening for me. Here is what I am doing:
1.) Go to main page of Forum listings
    2.) Login at very top
    3.) Attain successful login
4.) To to the main page of the site (www.theworshipcommunity.com)
5.) Click an article (Songwriters ...)
6.) scroll down to the Login link (apparently I'm still not logged in because the page which I posted yesterday does *not* have an "edit" button next the the "Reply" link at the bottom of my blog posting.)
    7.) Click the "Login link"
8.) Be default, I get the login option called "Disqus"
9.) Enter same Login name and password as in step #2 above
10.) Get error message saying that the Username or password is incorrect.
11.) Click link for "Forgotten password" (or something like that)
12.) Enter the same Login name as in step #2 above.
13.) Get error message saying that the Login name or email address doesn't exist in the system.
14.) Try the login process again, this time with the email address which I registered.
15.) Receive error message saying that the email address doesn't exist in the system.
16.) Give up and go get another cup of coffee.

So, there seems to be some kind of a "disconnect" between the forums and the topical articles, when it comes to loggin in. (??)

So, I still can't edit (or delete) my posting. Plain outta luck. (?)

    Thanks and God bless,
    Dave

I wish I could help. I never have to log in, because I never log off. I am going to send a message to Russ Hutto, the editor, and see if he can help you.
