New community site aimed at Worship Teams

Hi,

I just wanted to share a new site we have created at Worship Teams - Worship Team Resources
The site is aimed mainly at worship teams but it is open to anyone with a heart for worship.

The idea is that individual worship teams can set up their own groups (with their own members) in order to have a private central hub where they can plan out services, discuss topics and post ideas. On top of this we hope that these individual teams will collectively contribute to the wider site in order to create a wider community (as well as sharing ideas, songs and practical tips).

I know there are several sites like this on the web already but our own team wanted somewhere where we could all collaborate that was more focussed on the "worship team" element, so we started the site.

If you are involved in worship in any way (singing, playing, multimedia, sound, worshipper, dancer etc) then we would love you to join our community and tell your friends also.

Just a quick update:

I have completely changed the site layout and made it more "Social" like Facebook. We have done this to try and encourage churches to create their own groups and interact with other churches in order to create a wider network and a more social feel. We also have a new activity feature where you can post your updates directly on the front page.

Hi, We are pleased to inform you that http://www.worshipgroups.com has now reopened.

After much email conversations and offline networking we have decided that we should give the site another shot and have therefore made the bold move of reopening it.

The site is in the process of being set up again and there is very little to see at the moment - but we're hoping to add a few more features, groups, categories in the next few days. Firstly we need to get the discussions back up and running.

We have also decided to use the original front-end as this worked best (the layout is different).
