Default High Energy Easter Special Ideas?

    Hey everyone

We would like to do a really high energy, modern song as a special for Easter and are having a heck of a time making anything really work. For Christmas, we did "Little Drummer Boy" a la lifechurch.tv, with full light show, trash cans, etc. (check out Youtube), so that gives you an idea of what we're looking for.

I've been trying to rework the old 2nd Chapter of Acts' "Easter Song", but it's just sounding dorky.

    Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks - I'll be your friend forever...

    Gary,
I'm scratching my head, wondering the same thing.

I dont know how "high energy" my set is, but its a little less traditional than what my church has done in the past.

    In Christ Alone
O For A Thousand Tongues (david crowder version with chorus)
    I Stand Amazed
Came to my Rescue (hillsong united)

During offering we are going to play How He Loves Us by David Crowder. I have been doing this song with the youth for a while, I'm looking forward to introducing it to the church.

Amazing Grace (my chains are gone) for the invitation
