My pastor is going to be giving me my own worship page off our website. She would like to see some interactive things, some videos, some blogging... make it really creative, informative, and just totally cool. I have no idea where to begin for ideas. Can someone point me to some good worship ministry webpages to get ideas?
Thanks,
Jeff

I don't necessarily have a ton of other "ministry" type pages but I can suggest that going the blog route is probably the most effective when it comes to setting up a website. Especially a multi-purpose one like you're talking about.
Here's a few of the great worship-centric blogs I follow:
http://www.fredmckinnon.com
http://www.consumingworship.org
http://www.chrisfromcandad.com
Here's my own:

A lot of the more vocal members of TWC have their own personal/ministry blogs with a variety of post topics ranging from music ministry, worship leadership, videos, training, theory lessons, etc.
I can't believe Russ didn't mention my blog in there...
Seriously though, he's right...blogging is the way to go as long as you can commit to it.

Doh!
I tried to just name a few off the top of my head! Haha.
You should DEFINITELY check out Nate's!

haha...I was just kidding...the blogs Russ listed above are much better examples of how to blog consistently and goodly (not a word, I know) than mine.
Nate
lol, I can't believe you mentioned mine over Nate's.I'd always read his before I read my own.
Thanks guys, a lot of gpood suggestions. I'll keep gathering information and getting ideas until we're ready to launch it. I really like the idea of using flash like this site has done: www.oceansedgemusic.com until my administrator told me how expensive flash is to design and set up. I'll probably have a flash front page but it will direct to a static menu page including a blog, a calendar and a password-protected page for the worship team (both of us)
Anywho...thanks again

Flash is cool, but not necessary, and doesn't necessarily help you in regards to search engine rankings, keywords, and optimization. I'd opt for good content over flash any day.
We'll be doing a remake of our church's website this summer, as soon as Chris Moncus gets back from vacation @ Ichthus Festival ... and we'll be adding an entire "worship" section.

Honestly flash is useless.
It's so last decade.
