I have been on staff as worship leader for a church "re-plant" called The Journey" (formerly "Living Proof"). We have been struggling, and now the Pastor says he thinks God is sying it's just not the right time to plant a church this way (long story here, but briefly, there is no sponsor church - it is an association sponsored plant, and the support has been mostly nil).
Pastor is most likely returning to his home in Minnesota, and the rest of us are praying about whether to continue meeting for worship.
Pray that God would speak to us clearly about what to do next. Dissolve and be absorbed into other churches, or stay put as The Journey, looking to the Lord for direction and for resources (both financial and people).
I thank my brothers and sisters in Christ for their prayers!

Hey,
Man, that's tough. I forget the statistic, but it's pretty high, for the # of church plants that don't succeed in the first 2 years. I pray that God will give wisdom and full revelation of His will for that church, ministry, city, and all involved.
