There is just no denying it anymore. I REALLY need to relocate. I love the church I currently serve at, but I have reached the point where it is next to impossible to support my family, and stay here in Oregon anymore.
I am looking for a full or part-time paid position, as a worship leader, assistant WL, music director, worship arts coordinator, etc. I do NOT have a degree in worship arts, but I do have some formal training, as well as more than 20 years of experience.
If you know of anything, or hear of anything, or maybe know of resources that I might be able to tap into, please don't hesitate to contact me here or at email@example.com.
I'm up for it...but what will I tell the wife?
I can match his offer in seafood and BBQ and you can have my job!
Its tough everywhere bro. I am working full time at one job and part time at the church and that is barely covering our needs. I am actually looking for a full time ministry position knowing I will have to work part time somewhere else. I just want to swap the two.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart with your soul with all your mind and with all your strength!!
What? They don't even have beef brisket in N.C.
At the risk of insulting all of North Carolina, you haven't tasted BBQ until you've been to TEXAS! Kansas City would be #2 because they at least know what brisket is. I went to 3 places in Ashland NC before I realized that all they have in the state is pulled pork (bleeeccchhh)
Hey Smitty...I just did a google on "worship leader needed" and got a bunch of listings.
bunch here for example:
what? me worry?
Yod...you are awesome. Nate, I like the whole crabs and BBQ angle. His fire...I don't want your job...one of my own would be cool.
Sorry, worship....my bad
Worship...I know JUST what you mean. I am not hoping for anything other than a situation similar to what you are doing. I have skills and work experience in several areas other than worship...it's just where my heart is. I don't mind working hard, or a lot....I have been doing that for a while now...up until last year, that is.
