The new "text" message feature...

Hey, I absolutely love PCO but am having difficulties with the "text messaging" portion of it. Nothings reminding myself or our volunteers... any suggestions. I'm pretty sure I'm setting things up per PCO's directions, but I have been wrong way too many times in my life to think I know it all.

The first time that you set up an acount to receive text messaging it will send you a text message asking that you reply. If you do not reply to the confimation text it will not work. You can manually subscribe by sending a text message to:

with this message:
SUBSCRIBE PLANNINGCENTER

So, maybe I'm missing something... how exactly am I to "set-up" my account for texting... isn't it just checking the box within PCO (I can be pretty dense sometimes). Or is there a setup within Textmarks...

Yes, you just click the box for text messaging in PCO which should send you the confirmation text. If you don't receive the confirmation text, then try the manual method.
