Less is more.
Unless you are tipping your waiter, in which case more than 20% is more.

Julie - Outside of the SD community thing (which, to be honest, is totally irrelevant to me - I don't need another social network, Lord knows!!) does anyone from WLM blog? Do you have a new media director or someone who is engaged with subscribers and potential subscribers through blogs, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
**Whats different about the community is that there are 5000 like minded leaders, and about 2500 original works. We all know that the CD is limited; we can only select 12 songs a cycle. And the production quality on those songs is high. Many songs that we do pass on have the all the other elements but are low on the production quality. Part of the beauty of the community and what makes it completely different from the other types of communities is that you can post your songs, and mine for gold. Many of you have said that you would want a resource like this...well its right there and its free. One of the services song discovery does is "sifting" but if you would like to do your own discovering, here is a pool of your own colleagues that you are able to tap into and check out their music and incorporate into your services. The community is about 90% indie.....
Enjoy!

Julie,
Thanks for that info ... I've been a part of the SD Community since Day 1 ... although I haven't been around much, simply because I haven't WRITTEN any new songs in so LONG to upload. I have gone on and listened to some other music there, and found some stuff for the HPP Podcast.
It's definitely a unique environment targeted to people who'd like to share their songs ... it would be cool to be able to upload chord charts (assuming you're the owner) at some point, similar to sharesong.org?
