Default Lighting Up a Skrim

Wondering if anyone can offer advice about what kind of light to use for lighting a skrim from floor to ceiling. Our skrims are about 15' high and 4' wide.

Since you're not lighting a wide area you can probably do it not using a standard cyc light. We've got 6 of the Cheauvet Colorpalette II fixtures and they work fine for this application. They don't have a wide throw but you mentioned 4'. Should be no problem.

Here's a link...

I would also have you look at the Martin LED Stage Bars.

Product - Stagebar 54™

These are pretty awesome lighting instruments and they put out very little heat and use very little power.

I would light from above and below if you want full saturation but you can get away will simply lighting from below with the 54L's and be totally happy with the results...

I second that! Anything LED will present a lot of different options. The stagebar is a fantastic little light!
