Greetings in Christ! My name is Dave Langdon. I am senior pastor of Greentown Church of the Nazarene near Canton, Ohio. I am also the worship leader, and have been leading worship in a total of five churches over the past 14 years (the first two as a worship/music pastor and the last three as senior pastor - four churches in Ohio and one in Kansas City). For the past seven years, I have also been leading the (Nazarene) East Ohio District Praise Team for all our district assemblies, campmeetings, retreats, etc.
I sing and play keyboard (Alesis QS8) most of the time, but also play guitar quite a bit. When we are really desperate, I've also been known to fill in on the bass or the drums.
I enjoy composing new songs and contemporary hymn arrangements, but I haven't had much time for that in recent years since stepping into the senior pastor role. But enough about me... that leads me to how I came to be a part of TWC: Google.
Since I don't have as much time to devote to researching and finding the best new worship songs, I was searching online for worship leader forums - and TWC was the first one I stumbled across with some threads I was interested in. So here I am - that's my story. I look forward to some inspiring dialog.
