  • Your Top 10 Worship Songs of Q1 2012

Hey folks, I'd like to get your input for a post for the front page. I'd like to kind of compile a general top 10 list of great worship songs that the TWC community is utilizing where you're at.

I'm not intending for this to be a popularity contest for songs/songwriters, but really want to use this as an avenue to share what the heartbeat of our community really is.

If you don't mind sharing what you feel (or can back up with stats) your top 10 songs are from January 2012 through March 2012. That would be pretty amazing!

I'll just put together a nice post and might a few of you (that would like to help) to do a mini-song review on the individual songs. I think it would be a neat resource for folks looking to add new music to their repertoire.

I'll get us started (next post).

My top 10 utilized worship songs for Q1 2012 are (in no certain order):

Beautiful Things (Lisa Gungor, Michael Gungor)
Here For You (Matt Maher, Matt Redman, Tim Wanstall, Jesse Reeves) - Passion
    Refuge (Darrell Evans)
    Set A Fire (Will Reagan)

I lead worship in several venues (home church, other churches, college campus ministry, high school youth ministry) so this is a combination of all of those.

Shalom, brother Russ! There should be a sticky for a thread like this for each quarter...or each year at least! I use CCLI a lot and have a hard time believing some of their top songs lists. Anyway, even though Q1 is well in the past at this point, here are some of our top songs this year:

                          Savior (Ross Parsley)
                          Fortress (Robin Mark)
Lead Me To The Cross (Hillsong)
                          The Same Love (Paul Baloche)
                          Everlasting God (Brenton Brown)
To Be Like You (Jeremy Riddle)
                          Before You (Randy Butler)
                          Counting On God (Ross Parsley)
Everybody Praise The Lord (Lincoln Brewster)
Because Of Your Love (Phil Wickham)
                          Faithful God (Zach Neese/Gateway)

I didn't count...was that ten? Oh well...that's some of what we do.
