Man, I'd really like to go, but it didn't look promising for me to swing it this year - new hire, so there wasn't a budget for it!

I will be there. We are taking 6 or 7 down from our church. I am also hanging in Austin on Friday that week to hit the NAMM show and take in all the wonderful toys. Should be quite a week.

Maybe we'll run into each other there. I'll be the balding guy with the goatee. I haven't been to a NAMM show in ages; I have to be back in Chicago on Friday, otherwise, I'd try to get to that. Oh well.

I used to have relatives in Alton; my uncle taught Chemisty at the University many years ago.

I'm still trying to pull strings - 1 week away almost now ... the pastor is out of town, the admin pastor is on vacation ... but I'm crossing my fingers and hoping/praying!

so wish i could make it this year. too many days off my calendar already so i'll have to wait till next year.
God's timing is perfect.

hey, those of you that make it to the conference be sure to tell us all about it when you get back!!!

I'll be there. I'm coming alone as no one else on the team could afford it and our worship budget isn't large enough yet to subsidize...

Looking forward to it! I'll be the woman with very curly hair probably up in a ponytail...and using a cane with butterflies on it! I'm also kind of large right now (having gained 85 pounds this last year due to inactivity due to knee problems...and far too much turning to food)...so I'm not too hard to miss. :) Trying to keep my sense of humor...and hope to meet some of you there!
