Howdy all!
My praise team is in need of (huge mongus) encouraging prayer for Sunday service.
This will be the first time ever that we have four 9 yr olds up singing with us. We've picked:
Open The Eyes of Our Heart Lord and Every Move I make.
Practice was awesome last night.......but we all know how it goes when standing in front of 100 people that are sitting in the pews staring up at us!

I can't wait tho! Its gonna be awesome, the girls can sing well and the band knows the songs like the back of our hands.

Good deal, dude. Get those kids started early! I owe more than a small thanks to my kid's choir director for getting me singing in front of people.

Some parents push thier kids to play sports. I would rather see kids play music. I did both as a kid and in my forties I can still play my music and get better at it.....but my basketball game has dropped off the planet.
know what I'm sayin!

Mike -
that's awesome! I think you have nothing to worry about, but we'll sure pray that God's favor shines upon them ... ya know, kids can get up there and pick their nose and fall over themselves, and the parents and adults still love it!

Prayer time:
"Father, in Jesus' Name .. I pray for Mike and his church family. I pray that You would shine favor on them during this special service. I pray that the children would be at ease and would be able to worship you freely and easily. I pray that the hearts of those in the congregation would melt with the peace and joy that comes from seeing those children doing what they were supposed to do.

Furthermore, I pray that the adults and older people on the worship team would be moved with compassion and stirred with a childlike innocence and faith as they worship together. May it bring You great glory!

In Jesus Name!
Amen!
