Hey everyone,
I need help finding Christmas appropriate songs for this Advent season to do in my contemporary service. I thought it'd be helpful to have a thread to share our source for tunes for Advent.
North Point Christmas by North Point Live has a lot of good tunes.
Who else has some modern worship versions of familiar Christmastime songs?

One of our own TWC people has done an update to "As With Gladness Men of Old." The song has a great message, in addition to the Christmas theme. Here is the link to it.

MercyMe's album is my favorite ever...we've used about 6 of the songs from that album.

Ok i might be thread stealing, but I'm looking for a christmas song that is themed toward the prophecy of Christ.. I gotta be honest, I haven't been the biggest fan of christmas songs in the past (this is why i prob can't think of the theme I'm looking for).. Any suggestions? PS Mercyme christmas album is almost the only versions that we have done for the last few years. :)

If you're talking about the prophecy of Christ's birth, Chris Tomlin's My Soul Magnifies the Lord.

We are using Crowder's "The Glory of It All" this year.

I've always hated most Christmas music... But Andrew Peterson's "Behold the Lamb of God" is e best Christmas album ive ever heard.. We used it last year for our Christmas production, and are using it again this year, by popular demand.. Sadly, after all the work we did last year, we got a snow storm on the day we were scheduled to do it, and got a very low turnout to service because of it.. So the pastor asked us to do it again this year, because it really ministered to him, and the few that were in attendance the morning we did it..
