Wondering what service related data you guys track that we might be missing. I am a "beaver" personality so I can never get my fill of data. Here is what we currently track at a high level... http://www.worshiptrench.com/?p=147)
What are we missing data wise? Any insights?

I hate to say it, but I like spreadsheets. I also just got Numbers (iWork) for Mac. Sad sad sad.
But I like seeing the info you track. I wouldn't think to correlate some of those things.

We track:
Attendance (all)
First Time Visitors
Second Time Visitors
Regular Visitors
Giving (we actually put a slide up at the end of gathering with previous 2 weeks giving in chart form - we have a locked box with a slot in the back of our room: we don't "pass the plate")
Sunday Night (hotCafe) student (6-12 grades) attendance
+ we keep a running spreadsheet of all the "checkboxes" on the back of our "friendship cards" - includes stuff like volunteer opportunities, commitments, etc.

Hey -
Honestly, that's so far from my role of responsibility ... I have no clue whatsoever ... but I'll try and ask!

Good point. After thinking about it, I realized we also track those items as well.
We have monthly planning meetings where we go through our master song list...add a few new songs, and then make sure that the songs we are doing aren't getting overplayed each month.
We only do 3 songs per Sunday, and our master list is about 30 songs, so we're able to have a good rotation of songs add new ones and drop the ones we might have done too much. It helps because we always have the entire year in front of us when planning, so we know that we did such and such song 3 months in a row, and that it might be time to let that one rest.
Since, we only do 3 songs per set, it really seems like we "just did that song" even when it's been a whole month away.

Hey Guys -
Probably tired of me boasting of PlanningCenterOnline (http://www.planningcenteronline.com/referer/TheWorshipCommunity), but their Matrix View tracks all the songs, etc., that you've used - you can customize the view, and it makes it SO EASY to look over the last few weeks, or even months to view what you have (or haven't) done.
I will be making a tutorial video for PCO shortly - just showing how WE have used it ... I got permission from the owner to do a video screen capture .. woo hoo!
