My favorite chair (the super comfy one I sit at when I'm on the computer at home) is beginning to fall apart.

*le sigh*

Anyone else like to add anything?

My sister had ants in her pants once, out in California. Fire ants. Thanks for bringing a hilarious picture back to mind.

Oh, and sorry about your foot.

Wow... this weekend they're going to close I-94 in order to add more lanes to compensate for the extra traffic since the 35-W bridge went down...

...which means the usual 8 minute drive to church that became a 15 minute detour on I-94 is now going to take about 40 minutes worth of backroads.

If I'm lucky.

Ben, if you're going to upgrade and your with the globey company.... go for the 8125. I had the treo and after six months it just refused to work. It's on a palm os, while the 8125 is on the windows ce, much better! I can do everything on it that I can on my laptop! I can even visit theworshipcommunity.com!

humor is good!:)

A tour bus driver is driving with a bus load of seniors down a highway when he is tapped on his shoulder by a little old lady.
She offers him a handful of peanuts, which he gratefully munches up.

After about 15 minutes, she taps him on his shoulder again and she hands him another handful of peanuts.

She repeats this gesture about five more times.

When she is about to hand him another batch again he asks the little old lady, 'Why don't you eat the peanuts yourself?'.

'We can't chew them because we've no teeth', she replied.

The puzzled driver asks, 'Why do you buy them then?'
The old lady replied, 'We just love the chocolate around them.'

The average human has 206 bones. I must now learn the names locations and be able to identify the bone from a human skeleton. Two weeks till test time and then its off to slice and dice on a poor little kitty cat. Life is so much fun for an Anatomy and Physiology student. Well back to studying and listening to George Thorogood "Bad to the Bone".

BillyChia

Some Jewish believers hold that there are 613 commandments.

248 positive commands (do this) one for each bone and part of the body
and
365 negative commands (don't do this) one for each day in the solar year.

I just got a laser pointer and had my cat chase it around for about an hour tonight. It's probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen. If you don't have a laser pointer for your cat, get one. If you don't have a cat, get one of those too. It's worth it.

Ain't so smart now, are you kitty?

I was just at a family reunion where I ate an obscene amount of ridiculously-good food such as:

1.) Fried chicken (real stuff, not from KFC)
2.) Corn on the cob (grilled in shucks and rubbed with garlic-butter)
3.) fresh green beans
4.) homemade biscuits.
5.) chicken and dumplings
6.) barbequed spareribs
7.) homemade dressing (stuffing for you northern folks)
8.) potato salad
9.) sixteen-layer chocolate cake
10.) Snicker's pie
11.) Reese's peanut butter cake.

I am currently propped up in a chair in my dad's office waiting for my gas to go away so I can take a nap.

Mmmmm. It hurts so good.

I ALMOST ordered the Wild Boar Burger tonight at Real* Gourmet Burgers in Dun Laoghaire (that's suburban Dublin), but I chickened out and got the Azzurri with Mozzarella, Basil, Pesto and some other junk. It was gooood.

I bought a used BowFlex for about half of what it would have been new. The guy had it six months....used it two weeks. Sounds like my last gym membership.

El Ben
09-25-2007, 02:02 PM
Yep. I went to the gym four times before deciding that I needed to find a time to come when there aren't so many muscle gods and old guys. Between feeling guilty for not being able to crush a walnut between my pecs like Mr. Olympia over in the corner and feeling like I need to play catcher for Geriatric Pete who's overdoing the stair-stepper, it was a little too stressful. Plus, I'm not good with mornings...so, maybe 6:30 wasn't a good idea???

I just jumped back on the gym bandwagon yesterday (a litte sore)...
