Hello fellow worshipers! My name is Shane Jenkins and I am the lighting technician at Elevation Union. Elevation has been around almost 2 years now in Charlotte, NC and we just recently opened our first satellite/video location in Union county about 30 minutes away from our main campus. I just wanted to follow suit and introduce myself before jumping into the wonderful world of posting in the forums. God bless y'all and I can't wait to share ideas with my fellow Christ-followers. :D

Hey - I just posted to your lighting Q ... great to have you here. I think Elevation is awesome - I've been watching your videos and listening to the podcast for sometime now, and totally enjoy Pastor Steven .. I'm glad that someone from such a "reknown" place is here w/ us on TWC.

Thanks fro the warm reception Fred. I will pass along your words of encouragement to Steven. The Lord has really given him a passion for discipling his flock and speaking unashamed and sometimes unrefined words to the masses. I came to Elevation because of the non-sugar coated way pastor preaches and teaches. I find myself loving the fact that my pastor gets rather heated and fussy about certain subjects. To those who have never heard Steven preach, he is not a fire and brimstone pastor but he does present the truth in God's word in a VERY in your face and sometimes uncomfortable way. I know, for me, it is in those uncomfortable times when the Holy Spirit is allowed to work the most. It all points back to "The Hammering Process". Thanks again for the warm reception Fred, and I look forward to sharing a lot of time here with all you warriors. Please continue to fight the good fight and pointing people the the love and peace that only Jesus Christ can offer them. Shane Jenkins

Way cool, man .. you describe what I see happening at Elevation (from a distance, that is) perfectly. I hope you'll spread the word up there at Elevation (both campuses) and in Charlotte about TheWorshipCommunity!
