Since I came to this site and saw the songwriting challenge, I got an idea. I play in a Christian rock/worship band called 9th Hour. I went on our band Facebook page (9th Hour | Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/9thhour)) and told all of our friends to "challenge" me. I told them to share their favorite Bible verse, a word that God has spoken to them, a testimony, whatever and I would write them a song.
I have written 16 songs since March 22 on this challenge. I video tape them and post them on our page. Go and check them out! Would love some feedback.
This excercise is stretching me tremendously and I've met some really neat people along the way.
I am ready to take a stab at the April Challenge here on TWC. I've got at least 4 pending Facebook Challenge songs to write too!
