Hi all,
My name is Gordon Court, and I am a singer and song writer from Fargo, North Dakota.
I have been involved in music since childhood. I have been performing locally in the Fargo-Moorhead area and the Midwest for about 9 years after moving from the Twin Cities 10 years ago and taking up the guitar and harmonica.
I am currently a member of the worship team at 1st Lutheran Church in Fargo, and was a member of the Worship Team at Hope Lutheran in Fargo, ND for over 9 years, leading, playing guitar and harmonica.
Prior to Fargo, I was in the Worship Choir at Servant of Christ Lutheran in Champlin, MN, involved in music at Bethlehem Lutheran in St. Cloud, MN and a member of the Acapella Concert Choir at St. Cloud State University for 2 years. I was a winner of Regional and State Vocal Competitions in High School, at Albany High, and took voice lessons for 4 years.
I do sets up to 3 hours, of original music, contemporary Christian music, and 60’s/70’s acoustic folk/rock music, at local coffee shops, where I put out song lists and play what people want to hear. I have been performing at the following venues:

• The Dream Coat CafĂ© in Stillwater MN.
• FM Java Coffee Shop/ Trade Winds CafĂ©, Fargo, ND
• Luna Coffee and Wine Bar, Fargo, ND
• Atomic Coffee, Fargo, ND/Moorhead, MN.
• Bellissimo Coffee Casa, in Minot, ND.
• Bo Diddley’s, St. Cloud, MN.
• The Tabula Coffee House, and The Coffee Company in Grand Forks, ND.
• The Common Cup Coffee House in Morris, MN.
• Sunflower Hill Cafe in Detroit Lakes, MN.
• Sol Blu Lounge, Iron Mountain, MI
• The Coffee House in Crystal Falls, MI.
• Moose Jackson CafĂ©, Iron Mountain, MI
• The Koinonia CafĂ©, in Iron Mountain, MI.
I also have introduced contemporary Christian music at several smaller rural churches in the area, and have done Christian based concerts at Churches in Minnesota and North Dakota.
My heart pulls me to the church based ministry, but there is little interest at many of my local churches as they have worship teams, and like to have special music from within their churches.
I also have had a hard time contacting churches in the local area to see if there is a chance to perform for them.
I continue to pursue it, and with God's help will someday have a ministry which I can use to help others come to God.
