The first time we did this song, we used it right before baptism...with a highway video as a backdrop to it - the newest 'baptism' video with the text. If you start the video when the band kicks in on the second verse, it fits PERFECTLY, and they go so well together...

You can view it at highway video - www.highwayvideo.com. Do a search for baptism, and click on the baptism h2o video. Turn down the volume on the video player, then start the song on the myspace page, start the video at the second verse of the song. Pretty cool...

Wow - those Wickham's are a REDICULOUSLY talented bunch, aren't they. I just discovered his brother Phil for myself a few weeks ago (reminds me of my friend Matthew Perryman Jones from Nashvegas, only doing primarily corporate worship), and am still recovering from the shock. Beautiful stuff.

I saw Phil Whickam in Atlanta about a year ago...maybe less? Anyway, he was absolutely amazing. I felt like I was listening to an incredibly intricate sermon set to music. There's something remarkably hymnal about his music.

His brother is a little rawer-soudning, but I definitely like him as well.

I've had a chance to listen to the album several times through and I am really enjoying it. Great lyrical style and a raw but passionate voice. I'll have to check out his brother as well.
