The Management Agency (http://www.themanagementagency.com) has teamed with Rain Music (http://www.rainmusic.org/rm-home.htm) (Nick Coetzee) to form Beyond4Walls (http://www.beyond4walls.com) - a training, equipping, and mentoring organization for worship artists, worship leaders, and songwriters.
Our goal IS NOT to compete with other excellent training conferences and events including Integrity's Seminars4Worship, IndieHeaven's event, Worship Leader Magazine's National Conference, etc. but to fill a niche dedicated to the "artist" who is also a worship leader and/or songwriter. We want to help worship leaders in particular who want to maintain their roles in the local church but at the same time fulfill their calling beyond that local church's four walls to minister in worship as well. We're also looking for that next great worship song that someone out there has written, but it's "stuck" in their church's four walls (can you say "Shout To The Lord"?).
We have TWO Integrity Music recording artists scheduled to attend and share in our workshops. The event will focus on ministering to the worship artist, the worship leader, and the songwriter - no pressure to perform, network, or worry. Just come and soak in His presence and learn!
Breakout sessions including workshops on songwriting, balancing local church duties with touring as a worship artist, production and marketing, leading worship and staying relevant to the local church, how to have a successful tour, and many others! On Friday evening there will be a time of worship with a special guest artist - details coming soon. On Saturday morning, the day begins with a general session followed by more workshops. The conference ends at 3PM on Saturday with a worship session of dedication and prayer for all attendees.
The purpose of Beyond4Walls is to provide mentoring, training, and support for songwriters, worship leaders and Christian artists, specifically:
the worship leader who may or may not be on a local church staff;
the worship artist who has an integral role in the local church (artist-in-residence); and
the worship songwriter whose creative focus is on writing worship songs for congregations world-wide.
Our goal is to help persons with gifts in these three particular areas fulfill their calling with the ultimate goal of edifying the local church and the body of Christ at large.
