Inspired from Psalm 63:1-8... as I finished working on Tom Kline's lyric earlier this week I was drawn to verse 2 I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. As usual the melody's still settling in for me and I can hear a long faded tag when recorded.

I Got A Glimpse... on soundcloud.com (http://soundcloud.com/eddymann/i-got-a-glimpse)

I've really enjoyed the process the past three months and also value all the feedback.

Eddy,

Thanks for sharing bro!

I think this comment sounds like a broken record... It's amazing how many different things the Lord can speak to each of us through the same passage of His Word.

My feedback... I always love your sound first of all... as in balance between vocal and guitar and tone.

I found the word "sanctuary" somewhat hard to sing along with. I think it's mostly meter of the word.

I loved the "standing in the shadows of your loving wings" part.

The end seemed kind of abrupt to me, but I'm guessing this is the spot you meant for the long faded tag.

I think this sound would benefit greatly by some light hand percussion or one of those sit on top drum boxes. I only wish I played one ;-)

Great job so far dude! I'm liking it.

pianOdude pretty much summed up what I want to say. Great sound, great song. Sanctuary does seem a little awkward, but I'm not sure how to remedy it.

It will be interesting to see how many different songs we get from this short psalm.

just re-listened to the track... I liked it - i wish it was less repetitive - but I really liked it a lot!

this is cool, i love the chilled out voice+guitar vibe, and you've recorded it well too!
