Well I must say that I am very impressed with this resource. The forum has been very helpful in preparing for some classes that I am teaching on worship. My name is Cory Ratliff and I am the Creative Productions pastor for the Sign of the Dove Church in Waukegan, IL. I oversee all aspects of the fine arts in the church. We have a church of about 300+ and I've been a member for about 14 years serving in the music ministry for 12 years. I love to sing and dance, share and mentor with young people. Dancing has always been a great passion of mine. We have a thriving music program. We've recorded two live worship CD's available at CDbaby. We've traveled to other countries teaching about leadership. God has been very good to us. God has anointed me as a teacher. My degree is in vocal education. I am the lead piano player with a 5 piece worship band. I am recently married as of September 2006 to a special gift from God (testimony believe you me). We are now expecting!!!PTL
There is so much more to say. I will say this that I am grateful for the body of Christ sharing their experiences with one another.

Funny thing is, I didn't know how much to share. But I thank you all for the warm welcome. I can't wait to tell other worship leaders in my community here about this. I live in Lake County and we have been impressed by God to begin pulling together to pray for our county. We have been doing this for about 8 Years. We will get together for worship and intercession at various churches in the county. God has opened this up so that more churches across denominational lines are getting involved. So I have a great opportunity to fellowship with other music pastors here. So I will tell them to get on this site as well.

My name is Alan Owens and serve as Executive Pastor at Immanuel Church in Gurnee.
I was at the Catalyst Forum with our church staff on 11/16/07 and really enjoyed the worship time! There is a man in our church who is very interested in Christian Music and he asked if there were any Christian concerts scheduled in the future in our area (Lake County). I doubt he's a Christian yet, but he loves our church and is very "warm" to God and spiritual things. When I asked Bill Yaccino about Christian Concerts he directed me to you and Mark Chaffee. Do you know of any concerts coming up in the next 6 to 8 months in our area?

The man I referred to said if there aren't he would be glad to help in making one happen. Do you think there's any interest in doing something like this?
