Im looking for music that is appropriate for a contemporary, Easter service. The music can be secular, gospel, or contemp. christian but the theme is "For the Sake of Joy” (Hebrew 12:1-12). This is talking about how Jesus "endured" the cross for a greater joy.
Theologically, we must stay away from any music that discusses 'jesus dying for our sins", "shedding blood". etc. Also, music must have some theological substance.
Any ideas??

What about "Happy Day" by Tim Hughes?

It sure is something to think about. Thank you for giving me something to occupy my mind through a slow afternoon. A few songs that came to mind..
Take My Life - Chris Tomlin
Center - Charlie Hall
Saving Grace - Planetshakers
You Are My Joy - David Crowder.. a bit heavy though
Prayer of St. Francis - Vineyard Trinity. Hebrew 12:5-13 kind of speaks 'make of me' to me that they sing about in this song.
