Hey all,
Here is a new song I wrote last year. This is a rough recording of it, but I pray that you will enjoy. It is a 120bpm congregation friendly song of praise, inspired by Psalm 9 and Psalm 138.

Your Reign Forever & Ever
©2009 Brian Rossi
Verse 1:
I will praise you oh lord
with all of my heart
i will tell of the things you have done
i will rejoice and I will be glad
you are the lord most high
Chorus:
You reign forever and ever
You rule in righteousness
You are my wonderful savior
I will praise your holy name
Verse 2:
I will bow down and sing
Of your love and faithfulness
To you Lord I sing my praise
Your name and your word
Be high and lifted up
You are the lord most high
Bridge:
You are merciful God
You've given grace to me
In you I will place my trust
I celebrate and sing
Shout this song of praise
Because of who you are

If anyone on here is an electric guitar player, I'd love to hear an overdub.... you can download the original 320kbps MP3 from Sound Cloud.

Maybe a muted electric through the verses and more of a slightly distorted lead on the choruses. I'm not an electric guitar player, so it's hard to say :-)

maybe somewhat finger picking style on the bridge but end it with going back in to the more driving guitar to lead up to the "bass/drum" chorus repeat.

Still putting together the chord chart for this. Will post here once it is completed.

Great job, Brian. I see you found words for v2 and the bridge. Thanks for sharing it with us. Look forward to what it sounds like when some others add to it!

Thanks dude! Yah, it's tough being a single instrument player only. You orchestrate stuff with the band on a regular basis so you know what to listen for, but you just don't possess the skills to play them on your own! Argh!

I've added a bit of guitar to Brian's song. Please compare to the original version, and let me know what you think.

Nick! Your guitar part sounds amazing! Can you e-mail me the WAV file for it so I can add it in to actual version of the song? PM me and I'll give you my address... or I can set you up with a FTP account to upload it to. Thanks for this contribution bro... NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALL MUSICAL COLLABORATION!!
I especially love what you did on the bridge with my other music.
Did you add in some sort of electric piano too or is it an electric guitar?

I've added two parts. An electric rhythm, and an acoustic rhythm. If you listen in stereo, the electric part is right of center, and the acoustic part is left of center. Just guitars... no electric piano. I did not want to cover up the original piano, though I think the electric guitar part does that a bit. I was hoping to add an electric lead part, but I haven't figured out anything that I'm happy with, yet. I was also thinking of adding some bass, but I'm undecided. The mix doesn't feel thin, so bass really isn't needed. Thanks.

I have a bass part in there already anyhow ;-)
Can I give you some FTP instructions and have you FTP the guitar WAV files to me?
