The worship center at my church is designed with the traditional behind-stage-center baptistry, which means that I can't do anything cosmetic on our cavernous stage without blocking line of sight to the baptistry. I'd really like to hang some fabric, etc to soften lines and control the soundwave tennis match we have going on--but, again, anything I do obstructs the view.
I'm curious about mounting a semi-permanent camera close to the baptistry, sending a wireless video signal to our soundbooth and simply having people watch the baptisms on our screens in real time. Video production is not my forte, though, so I'm not sure where to start or even if this is realistic.
Any ideas would be most appreciated!
