Very nice selection of songs both old and new. Have Your ever played Matt Redman's Nothing But The Blood

?Bb seems to be the popular key as well!

Yeah, we actually play that quite a bit. For some reason we did a few oldies this particular Sunday (gotta try to make everybody happy every once in a while!)
We play stuff from Third Day, Hillsong, Passion, Tomlin, Redman, Crowder, etc..

We try to put a new spin on the older songs when we can....for example on Nothing But the Blood, I started with an acoustic verse and chorus, then the band kicked in for the other 2 verses (kind of Southern Rockish feel)

Yea, we do the same. I have a guitar player that loves to take old hymns and make them new again through different arrangments. We just did Be Now My Vision this past Sunday. I completly rearranged version. Sounded great!

You're the first person I've seen to use Healing Rain. You are talking about Michael W. Smith's aren't you? We do that in Bb here at Boone Trail too. We kind of modified one part of it though. Where it kind of "ends," and then comes back with the final chorus thing, we completely end the song very quietly and then the drums do a 4 count fill and we come in huge on the last part. That's a really powerful song.
